Every time I load up SK, it crashes immediately. I've uninstalled and re-installed but the problem remains the same. I'm using Windows10 but I think thats irrelevant since this is the first time that its happened. 

Are there any error messages that pop up when SK crashes? Can you go to SK install directory and see if there is a debug log file present. If there is, can you paste the contents of that file here?

I'm having the same issue. Reinstalled Java, Runescape, cleared IE temp history, & Swiftkit. It works every now and then but it was working flawlessly yesterday.

Swiftkit was working great yesterday I have been using SK many many years I tried loading RS and a white box come up says Toolkit for Runescape stopped working, I have tried to run as Admin also uninstalled reinstalled Swiftkit still getting the same message can anyone help me fix this issue?

Looks like I joined this community at a bad time. You fixed my first issue, and then because of the new windows update, it breaks a second time. I too am having the issues of the above users :/ I hope all goes well and you have able to figure it out.

It is the process of updating the news that crashes the application.

 

 

As soon as SK starts, click the Play-RS button before the application has a chance to load the news and boom!

This does not work. I've been trying to figure this out for like 2 weeks. I've tried running the program for windows 7/xp. I've tried running as an administrator. I've tried running it on a pc that is running windows 7. I've tried on windows 10. I've tried manually removing all files related to swiftkit and reinstalling. I have no idea what the issues is. Obviously it isn't windows 7/10 so it must be a sk issue. I'm very unhappy. I use the swiftkit tools on a regualr basis when scaping. ugh. 

The only problem we are facing right now is crashing due to the ads on the SK news page on Windows 10 after Windows update. It happens randomly when I open SK, sometimes it crashes when ad loads, sometimes it doesn't.

 

If you are experiencing something else on Windows 7, then please share some information (error messages, debug log, screenshots).

A new Windows update was pushed out last night. Anyone still experiencing the issue after installing it?

I haven't gotten any crashes from the ads anymore, but then I got them randomly anyway so I'll keep testing.
