Anyways, tried using dithering to do the shading, think (to a point) it worked out well for the planets shadow. anyways, shadows for the planet were a little long (lot of dithering) but eh.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Well, still working on this, I want to add a ship and a nebula, but this is it in it's WIPNess.

I think you should make the cloud dots near the edge of the planet be a darker grey to show slight roudness and 3Dness to the planet. Besides that, looks nice.
