April 21, 201610 yr Unless there's been an update I'm not aware of (it's entirely likely, I was gone a long time :P), then no. I looked around but couldn't find anything that said otherwise so I'm assuming that's still the case. You don't necessarily have to sell your items though, on free servers F2P and members items are tracked separately in your bank so you can leave them there and it won't take up bank space you could otherwise be using. Despite never having been a member, I have 6 members items in my bank (left over from events and the like). They don't take up space I'd otherwise be using, so I just leave them there as curiosities that only I get to enjoy. ;) Check out my blog to read the Adventures of a Big Damn (F2P) Hero. April 21, 201610 yr Author I don't care about the space. I would want to be able to sell some other items if they rose or dropped in price. . Because last time I took a break from the game my items rose a couple mil. Visas versa.
April 21, 201610 yr You can trade members' items freely in the Grand Exchange, even if your membership expires. This was added (only took ten years!) recently. The one caveat is that you need would at least one of a (members') item to place buy offers as the search function will not return members' items in the list. April 21, 201610 yr You are able to sell them on the Grand Exchange. HOWEVER, if they are degradable items, which have seen any use at all, you will be unable to repair them, and therefore unable to trade them. This rather annoyingly happened with a close friend who purchased a month of members and was still holding my Ripper Claws when it expired. She couldn't repair them, and I ended up wasting a bond to get them back (since their value exceeds that of a bond, at any rate).
