So ... Greater demons & Pixel Signatures

Hi, I have a couple questions about rs greater demons.

#1 -

Does anyone know how many fingers they have?

Judging by the few pictures i've seen it looks like they only have 3, is this true ?

#2 -

Does anybody have a picture of the greater demon location in the wilderness ? (a close up so i can clearly see the features of the location)

I also have a question about pixel signatures - I am not 100% sure on what is defined as a pixel sig. Is it considered a pixel signature if you work with a 1 pixel painbrush tool (instead of the pencil tool ... it's basicly the same) ?

Also, is it still considered a pixel sig if you use the photoshop burn tool to aid your shading technique ?

Thanks for your time, please answer. :)

Im sure someone wil have a pic of the place, i think they do have 3 fingers but its your sig, so make it have as many fingers as you want.

And about the pixels in photoshop thing..

Its not really a pixel sig if you use photoshop effects. Just use paint my friend, its alot simpler and makes for some good pixel sigs

Ty for reply.

Well the burn is not really an 'effect' as such, well i suppose it is - but it's not a filter or anything like that. It's just like using an eraser, but it darkens the colour you rub on (you set the exposure).

Hmm, i dunno.

1) I'm pretty sure they got 3 fingers, one being a thumb.

2) Greater Demons are located at the north east end of the F2P wilderness, they hang out by the ruins and North of the lava there. Check the Tipit Wildy Map, should be labeled there.

A pixelart explanation from Wikipedia I would agree with:

Generally, "pure" pixel art must be created by manual pixel-level editing, without the use of any automatic filters. In the pure form, it is generally said that "each pixel was placed carefully". Purists within the pixel art scene say that pixel artists should only use tools that place individual pixels (usually the pencil tool), and no tools that automatically create shapes for you (like circle, square and line tools). Others say that the line tools and the bucket fill are acceptable, as they do nothing more than speed up the work without impacting how the work looks. The use of automatic filters such as anti-aliasing, on the other hand, is generally considered not valid in "true" pixel art, since the filters will add new pixels automatically, eliminating the careful placement.

I guess i'm making a 3/4 pixel sig then, hehe. I'll post when i'm finished. I need the picture of demonic ruins so i can get a view of what my background should look like first. I have the warrior & demon drawn + coloured ready.

No offense but a pic of the Demons means someone having to walk all the way to the spot, which is pretty dang far unless you happen to be a pker there. I think you'll have a better chance of finding the pic if you go there, you'd get just the right angles you're looking for.
