March 2, 200620 yr ok know my freind was escaping a zomebie and rs made him run backwards then loop around, and then back to escaping! sometimes when you walk, you go backwards and then foward. this can be major disavantage for some players almost dieing. so, what i mean is that jagex should change that. also, you should be able to walk diagnolly. so um...yeah just a suggestion  http://forum.tip.it/topic/311655-time-value-cutoff-a-primer/http://forum.tip.it/topic/311491-powerslaying-guide/Power tends to corrupt; Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
March 2, 200620 yr Your a Kimmie fan??? Isnt she the American who was in the Olympics? LIKE OMG! Shes only 16! Hey wait a second... Wasnt she the one who placed so low that she cried??? Thought so. PS. I would never really say "LIKE OMG!"
March 2, 200620 yr and rs made him run backwards then loop around, and then back to escaping! sometimes when you walk, you go backwards and then foward. That sounds like lag to me, which I don't think Jagex can do much more about. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
March 4, 200620 yr It isn't actually lag. The running back and fourth is caused by clicking on the same place more than once (usually goes like: click, character walks a few steps, click, the "best" route from where you are has changed, and your character walks back to whence they started and goes the new route instead of just continuing). I don't know why this happens mechanically (read: in the code), but it's pretty easy to avoid. Here's how: Don't click multiple times, especially around a lot of obstacles around which your character has to walk. If you click somewhere on the map and your character just stands there, wait a few more seconds. In this case lag is likely the culprit, so just wait until your connection catches up to the server. I find that the best way to avoid running back and fourth like a decapitated chicken is to use the map, and click near the edge, then when my character is about three quarters of the way there, I click again near the edge of the map. I hope this helps! :3
