I like the whole money for sigs idea but cant someone just right-click and save the pic then therefor not paying for the sig but instead stealing it??

there is a prob with that someone could save it then crop-out the "sample".

then it looks small and sucky....thats why people shud put smaple big

Most everyone does pay, because they dont want to get a bad rep. Anyway its just a sig no big deal, and you get to have fun going around flaming them for stealing your sig. :lol:

They can't use it here anyway else the mod will deal with it...

 

 

 

Plus if the sample is big enough and well designed/placed, removing it will simply make the sig look weird...

plus a lot of the people want to use the sig on these boards (which is useless if you stole the sig, cause you cant use it). Mods could temp ban if they use a sig they didnt pay for. But if people want to use the sigs on diff site, and somone posts a sig without a sample, they could just take it and say "their friend made them one".

Yes. That's why the "Sample" text on mine are usually watermark-style, semitransparent text that covers the whole image.

yea, that usualy stops the copying. The bad thing is people usualy wont pay if they created a contest that they want to rip a sig from and then everyone puts samples on them. They just give up.
