March 12, 200620 yr Looking good for a first and the shading (or however much you have done so far) and the anatomy is pretty nice and it just has a overall nice look, i'll help you out a bit. Extend the t-shirt on his left shoulder, leave the part going forward and make it wider towards his back and higher towards his neck. Make the pickaxe handle + pick-part of it alot bigger, an enlargement of about 2x or something. I think that's it for now, good luck :D . Lowgravity, I want to be just like you. But...I never will be as 1337 as you. :(
March 12, 200620 yr Its good for a first.. The gem is way too round. it loks like and egg kinda. his left leg is bigger than his right (thickness in the thighs). Also the rocks seem too round.. make them more jagged and stuff. His left arm is short. Small eyes, end of pick handle (not the hand side) is too small of a circle. Glove on hand looks wierd and puffy. Only 4 fingers on the hand with the egg? nose is too flat unless its broken I love the party hat..

Edit: redid pickaxe, added boot, recolored clothes, reshaded phat, shaded head and hair, moved left arm for longer effect.

March 13, 200620 yr Author Edits:rocks jagged, 5th finger, pick axe tip, nose, added cape of legends, made the gem less smooth, made right leg bigger to match left leg, made glove less 'puffy' ok, now i need some suggestions for what i should put as his shirt.
March 13, 200620 yr The edits are an improvment and im glad you made them, good to take advice from other pixels, but the pickaxe still isnt right, It should look more like this: Thats a pickaxe head from a sig of mine just for an example, anyway for the top, maybe make dragon chain, or if you just want it a tee shirt like that add some rinkles and shading http://jdpr.deviantart.com/
March 13, 200620 yr Author i'm not sure what i want to do with it, i know if i leave it as a t-shirt, i'd add shading, but then there's the question of color. i'll try a dragon chain, see if i can get the texture right or not.
March 14, 200620 yr Author a major adjustment: got rid of all black lines. also worked on the background a little.
