Turning off being able to be followed. I hate it when random people just follow you for no reason

lol ppl follow u for 3 reasons normally

 

 

 

1.you have told them to they are your friend etc.

 

2.they want to say something to you e.g. ill buy your helm.

 

3. they are "taxiing" which is where you follow some one heading the same direction as you so you dont have to bother clicking on the ground all the way.

 

 

 

this option would be a load of extra work for jagex and never would be implemented

I (being a level 70) was being followed by a level 5 or something, being told that I was this guys new "pet." He wouldn't go away, and I finally lost him after he ran out of energy, from running. He pmed me after saying I wasn't gonna get away.

 

 

 

It may be hard to implement, but there would be so many grateful people. Think of Zezima... he would.

 

 

 

Maybe to make things easier for players, people on your ignore list can't follow you. Everyone else can.

it does bother me that much

I had one fellow follow me way past Edgeville about half way between Varrock, so I teleported somewhere else. Whether the free stuff beggar had any means of getting back quick or not i dont know. I did run into him again but for some reason he avoided me.

yeah, that would be a nice option. sometimes you need to drag those guys up to wildy before they stop bothering you. Maybe put it as an extra thing that would happen if you blacklist a person.
