Sorry the imformation i provided is incorrect...haven't played the Hunater mini game for a while....apparently Jagex changed the way the game plays so that the higher your level only the highest moths will appear...sorry for getting everyones hopes up.
-
Wearing the ring of visibility allows you to catch only purple, grey and black moths. My last two visits have produced maximum points of 1500 and on average (I'm level 92 Hunter) over 5k xp per pouch when you empty into the Big Chins den. This also applies to picking branch's. I am assuming that you only see the 3 highest level moths depending upon your level.

Games take too long and also waiting time needs to be adjusted. Ancients rules! Think i'll go back to waterfiends. Or maybe wait till the game dies down enough so our clan can play.

You have all three combat types to contend with and you will find mage hits harder than most but depends if you have 2 rangers attacking and a mage use range protect, i'm sure u will figure it out. Use normal secateurs not magic (magic takes longer to operate) click the trees to get the off cuts and proceed to the next level. I take a superset and an extra attack pot, don't need super restore, save them for something more worthy. At least 8 monks and you will need 5 empty spaces after killing the Phoenix. Wear proselyte for prayer or high defence armour like Torags and pray mage as it has one of the highest if not the highest melee and range defence in game. Don't forget the tinder box, secateurs and knife.

Get the measure on the thermometer downstairs and subtract your weight, the difference is what you will need to place on statue. So get twice the amount you need because your weight will drop when you place weights on the statue. The dial also indicates the number of weights u can use, if you get it wrong the number of weights you can use reduces by one. For example if the thermometer says 29 and you weigh 40 the difference is 11. So you need 22 total in weights, the number 3 on the dial means you need to put a 1kg and 2 by 5 kg weights on the statue.

I want to ask...after completing the new quest...
aaron5140 replied to samcowcow's topic in Help and Advice
Use the 2 key halves on a mithril dragon to form a new key. This will then open the mithril door and then dissapear. Ruby key u can drop as it can be regained by searching the waste bin. If you don't have 99 smith sell the ruined dragon part for 10.6mil You can loot by simply returning to Moravios rooms with just a teleport out and go into the adjoining cave, use the same method as before to exit the room using weights or just take a chance and keep opening the door. The armour sells for around 300k, not sure about the mage clothes. -
Thanx Dana, that was awesome help. BTW if anyone else is stuck dont forget that if u have weights already on you take them into account when you load the statue.
-
In trying to leave Moravios rooms, i have tried to- use an equivalent amount of weight as i am carrying. use the same amount of weight as shown on the thermometer. (which sounds wrong anway, as it's heat not weight). And the stove doesn't work anyway. Im on Lunar mage, and wonder if superheat works or something of that nature. I just cannot see how to open the door without being gassed and losing the items. Any hints?

Best way i have found and i do it every day is- wear full proselyte, d boots, dfs (if u have 1) superset and 1 prayer pot (im 99 prayer) Whip and a Addy Minatour or your best fighting familiar, 10-12 monks or sharks. Before entering protal, summon familiar if you havn't already done so, tank up. When the cut scene ends run to where the portal is with pro mage on. When Bork gets close turn on melee protect and piety. Do not use mage protect again, when Bork summons his mini followers, run to the opposite end along the wall and hide in the recess until Bork comes for you. His followers will stay where they are and the mage will depending upon where he was situated stay with them and leave you alone. If on the other hand the mage is off screen in middle somewhere turn mage protect oon until Bork reaches you, then switch back. Good LUck

All Fired up - 14 Beacon guide. Slightly improved.
aaron5140 replied to iwatake's topic in General Guides
When you first do this mini game you need 15 logs per beacon plus 5 for the 12 NPC's, totaling 270 logs, quite a challenge but reasonably easy. However If you lose the Inferno Adze it is lost for ever, just like skill and quest capes and you will have to do the beacons again to regain it, or the ring or gloves. You will need 20 logs for each beacon (which is better because you dont need to carry any extras for NPC's), just gather all possible teleports and jewelery later after setting up,which really does help speed things along. As a continuing mini game though, this just isn't worth repeating, 280 yew logs = 56,700xp every 20-25mins as against 39,600xp for a good 2 hours work, add the expence of runes :( and deadly risks :ohnoes: , why bother. -
The reason the Armadyl, Saradomin and other godwar armours and swords are dropping in price is because groups fight under the loot share method. Which whenever a drop occurs it is automatically placed on the Grand Exchange at the lowest available price at that time. If items like the Saradomin Godsword (hilt) was 130mil 2 months ago and now 65mil it goes to reason that it will drop a lot more until it is no longer worth killing for. The reason Guthans has dropped so rapidly is because Bunyip's heal more often than Guthans does, so you can blame Summoning for that fall. Pking will be re-introduced on certain worlds not all worlds or players will have the option before logging in to either play to lose there stuff or not, also Jagex have already said if another player is wearing a phat for example it will not be available to the pker as a reward and lost forever if the other player doesn't get to his tombstone fast enough. I also doubt that players are hoarding pots for the resurgence of pking. More a case that the recent addition of the New Runecrating game has pulled people away from herblore for want of something else to do.

What defence level is needed to not be hit by a hobgoblin?
aaron5140 replied to Yoozen's topic in Help and Advice
When they are less than your score by double + one, they wont hit you. Same applies for all RS beasties i think you will find. So if the Hobs are 38 say on that stretch behind the crafting guild, when you reach 77 cbt your free. -
Try reading what i wrote.

Depends on your crafting, smithing and firemaking levels. Candle Lantern you need lvl 4 Firemaking and Crafting lvl 19 Oil Lamp lvl Firemaking 12 and Crafting 25. Oil Lantern Lvl 26 and Smithing lvl 26 for Iron Bullseye Lvl 49 and smithing lvl 49 or Mining Helmet lvl 65. Collect Swamp-tar from the Lumbridge swamps. Take swamp tar to the chemist in Rimmington. In the east corner is a spcial still.

Can someone enlighten me as to how i can recover the 3 pages i lost from the quest, so that the runes can be crafted? Have asked Cournel O'niell and Tiffy and the Com Orb contact. Have tried to get pages back by going to the three places they were discovered. Any help would be appreciated. :ohnoes:

If your familiar with irc chat or mirc and you are currently running swift switch, (which Jagex no longer condones) there is an irc chat attached to it or download MIRC which you can try for a month (i think) then you must buy the program. By logging into any of the following channels - #pestcontrol #p3st_control #pc-addicts #pc-fiesta or #(A)scendancy You will need to log in with your rsn to be identified by the bot. If you meet the requirements, level 90 or 100 combat or total of 150 when strength and attack totals are added, you will be able to get the current PC world.

I think you will find that the burners are not the real problem it's the altar. However that said burners which require marentil leaves will give you the higher percentage, so you will need 2 leaves every time you use the altar and carry a tinder box at all times. Burners as you upgrade them from incense, increase the amount of time in which you can offer the bones at the altar. Which is good if you cop a random event like the Zombie or Evil Chicken, but the higher the level of burners after incense wont make any difference to final percentage. Also when you upgrade an alter from basic to the final Guilded version, you must destroy each alter, they do not upgrade. So for the Guilded alter you must destroy the previous Marble Altar.

Anti macro...Random Event. Little Red Riding Hood asks you for directions, you have 3 choices and are rewarded accordingly. Now if you don't respond...Red says "Answer me or you will have to log in again" . Red will ask at least 3 times, but never under a combat situation. Well seeing as macro's dont respond to anything the chances are they're going to get kicked. Honest players need not worry. Just an idea anyway

Thats the whole point of the PIN number. (nice Post Tho) Surely you must realise by now that 95% or more of hacking incidents are committed by friends, friends of friends and relatives. The other method is by downloading a programm that logs your keyboard and mouse actions. Or by attempting to cheat yourself you give you details to another cheat. Provided any would be hacker doesn't know your pin, remove any valuables your character is wearing and place them in the bank.... "This Is Called Common Sense."

Quickest way to get cooking up is to make wine from ingredients in culinators chest in lumbridge 50 grapes and 50 jugs of water = 200xp in seconds.
-
You may try starting from the very beginning, by digging up the head again or check your status in the quest by clicking on the Quest Star, it may nave a clue.

Oddly enough if you want to sell them, you can get 500gp from the general store on Brimhaven. Everywhere else seems to be 400gp.
