hello everyone i am new to the site :D But i have a question for all of you. On a macintosh when you play in high detail music on rs does not play and it is not the browser because i have used Netscape,Safari and Internet Explorer. It might be that the mac graphic card just does not support it but i would like to see if anyone knows if thier is a way to solve this problem. :?

S'just because RS is designed for IE on Windows. I guess yuo could try installing IE and Java into a windows emulation thing, but that'd just be a pain.

 

 

 

So yeah, sorry. Suggest you contact Jagex and complain to them about it, and then hopefully they'll make their sounds work on all browsers and operatign systems.

Sound only works with Internet Expolorer on Windows. Andrew said they were going to fix this like 2 years ago but nothing so far. Like Cam said, all you can do is write to Jagex.

yea i saw that, but i have also tried alot of browsers like firefox, netscape, internet explorer, and safari (mac browser) and i do have windows on my mac but thats kinda a pain

I play on a mac also and had the same problem.

 

 

 

What do I do?

 

-Play RuneScape on Safari :P (or Camino)

 

-Listen to iTunes

 

 

 

Listening to your own music is so much better then those loops Jagex have for you. Safari & Camino I personally think runs better then any other browser so you can play RuneScape at its best.

yea i know thats much better but my comp is slower and i cant play itunes and rs at the same time and i like the sound affects in rs it helps you play better in c wars :?
