kwimbob
I'm not sure, but I heard you'll get this if you're not on the administrator account of the computer. Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well. And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. And yes, I'm completely oblivious to the [real] world around me as I constantly engineer new solutions to daily problems in my head. When I get hungry, all that isn't food can wait. When I'm sleepy - nothing is of any priority in front of sleep. But at any other time, I never slow down. Never give up. Never Surrender. Makes for a good life.[hide]YOU'RE GONNA CARRY THAT WEIGHT.- See You, Space Cowboy.[/hide][/hide]

Vape
It's already quite near enough to the top. I'm guessing it could be that Java's configuration is trying to cache it somewhere that doesn't exist or that you don't have access to. On a network drive or something perhaps. Dunno. Can you open any other java stuff? Where the bloody hell are you?
Demeltor
it could be... i looked at it and it was puting stuff in a folder i couldnt find lol... and yah i can use java on other stuff like chatsites and all

Albosky
As this seems to be a Runescape related issue , you probably have seen a message similar to this Error 104 - Unable to save to cache. Runescape has downloaded a new update, but is unable to install it. It seems you do not have permission to write to the directory which RuneScape is using. To solve this please either: Login as the user who originally installed RuneScape on this machine, and then try loading RuneScape again so it can update itself. Login to your computer as an 'administrator' user, and then try loading RuneScape again. This should give it sufficient access to update itself. If you are unable to do either of the above, then as a last resort you can tell RuneScape not to store any files on the harddisk. When entering the site and choosing between high-detail/low-detail also select 'Unsigned Applet Using Default Java' from the dropdown scroll at the bottom of the detail select page. You will need to do this everytime you load the game. The disadvantage of this is the game will load slower and will have no sound, so if possible use one of the top two solutions instead. If problems persist then please refer to our technical-FAQ which can be found in the FAQ section of our website the runescape files are downloaded into a folder .file_store_32 under your windows directory , when the signed java applet creates this directory it sets the attribute to read only , and when it runs its own updates , it normally disables such and does its install , then resets the attrib Try manually changing the folders attribute and unchecking "read only" and loading it again. Or evven deleting the folder completely and letting it be recreated. Hope it works out , if this doesnt solve the problem , please reply , Will dig a bit deeper :) I like to fart silently but deadly in movie theatersArd Choille says (11:41 PM):I wouldn't dare tell you what to do m'dear

happybappy
Sorry for resurecting this topic haha. But... I got the same problem. AM an Admin, and tried everything said. But... nt working... If none of that worked you could try using the unsigned applet, although it will run slower.
