my friend installed warcraft on my pc and did it so i didnt need the cd to play it(forgot what that was called) i've tried to go on battle net but i cant. so my question is do i need the cd to go on battle net or is there somthing i need to download?

2) Looks like piracy is coming back to haunt you. Blizzard's Battle.Net can only be accessed by the unique registration code that comes with each copy of the game. If you're trying to access Battle.Net with a borrowed code, you can't connect while the other code is online. If you want to play online with a Blizzard game, the only way to do it properly is buying the actual product in the store.

oh dam.. oh well i guess i'll just buy the disc this weekend ty for the help though :o
