Become a Member-Guide

What about agility? Sure it's not that much fun to start your membership with (even though the screaming gnome coaches are quite fun), but when you want to do 50+ quests being able to run a lot is a BIG advantage. Some of the easier quests even have an agility requirement and others have agility xp for reward. That might be a nice thing to add to your guide, which quests require agility levels and which quests give agility xp, and maybe how many laps on the gnome course get you to lvl 20 (very optional, just thinking out loud).

Very nice looking guide, but I think you're a bit over the top with the recommended levels to become a member. Personally I joined members at 81 cb and 900+ total, but I soon found that I could have joined at an earlier stage and would have had the same amount of fun, or even more then training those levels on f2p. Also 3M cash? I think there's very little f2pers that have more then 1M cash AND full rune, heck I know a ton of members that don't even have that.

If you keep this guide alive and keep adding stuff to it, there's a good possibility it will end up in the archive of wisdom.

I will shoot down any one with my bitting wit, and sarcasm!

What POSSIBLE reason would someone have to make a fake like that?Does he profit from faking a picture like that? Does it help him at all?Jesus Christ, stop being so suspicious. This is Tip.it for God's sake, not RuneHQ. -_-

Nice guide. I like the tips for what to do when becoming a member although I think you ought to say that the skill requirements are only if you want to get the most out of member items immediately upon joining because many of those skills are much easier to lv up in members such as combat (Experiments and Rock Crabs). It is also much easier to make money, e.g. fletching/alching, better drops, access to forums.

I joined about a month ago. 70 fletching already, never even had 1 mil in the bank.

Good guide though. Should help people.

1) the members world is huge. Best to learn the world at f2p first, then go p2p. Learn the best training spots.

2) making money and training most skills is a lot easier at p2p. So don`t wait too long before switching.

3) p2p-only areas are usually a lot more dangerous than f2p areas. So if you stay some time on f2p before going p2p, focus on melee training.

P.S. elemental shield is nearly worthless. It only gives a bit of magic defense. By the time you fight magic monsters, you should be able to wear dragonhide armour which is much better.
