l33thunt3r
You have a corrupt file, or a missing one. I had that too, and all I did was buy new RAM, and now its fine.
maximus
my RAM is kind of old (2-3 years). I dont think its my RAM. Could it be my video card which is equaly old? Long since retired.
____
I've gotten both those errors (and more) randomly just doing nothing. I haven't been able to pin-point what it is yet :-? How old is your Windows install?
Hulk12
the only computer I owned that this occured regualry on was a gaming machine a year or so ago. I upgraded most the internals and had a smooth run after that. In your case other than upgrading, I suggest a fresh format + reinstall of XP. ____
That's what I end up doing - stays fine for about a year, then I start getting random BSOD's again :-\ It's like it's programed into Windows to BSOD after x days :x

____
partition your hdd, put anything you want to keep on the new partition, format windows drive, reinstall windows, done. Seriously though, I'll see what I can did up for you. Edit: ok, you have a high probability of failing hardware. And since you say it only happens in games. I'll agree with your assumption of the video card. What type and how old is it?
