IE and Flash acting lame

Featured Replies

I rarely use IE so im not sure how long this has happened for or if one of my family has changed any settings but Flash files do not load unless you click on them for some reason.

The content shows but you have to roll over the flash, then the outline highlights and you have to click to "activate" it.

Anyone got any ideas? Works fine in FF

Just checked - I get the same thing :x

Probably something to do with the last batch of windows update, have a look around or something if you really care. I'm fine with my Firefox :)

It's the patch to get around the EOLAS patent.

There are ugly hacks to bypass it on a web page (needs to use an external javascript to load it), or a pattch to re-enable old behaviour until the next update.

Or use another browser.
