my letter to jagex on the new essence(I'm mad)

Featured Replies

wow. your so angry, I can see that there are already sigs being made about it. I'm sure that Jagex didn't expect for the price of normal ess to drop so much. Besides, merchanting ess is, well, merchanting. The price of essence has been a constant fluctuation. On some occasions it's 20 each, on others it's been at 50. The deal is that this isn't really a "mindless decision" as everyone says it is. At least that's f2p.

For p2p I can't say much, except that you can no longer take advantage of the f2p for trying so hard to get so little.

(><) my sig is cool, if you agree put this in your sig. *is too lazy to animate*

^the bunny is back! yay!

All essence should have been made pure essence, allow f2p to use pure essence (basically a waste) and then you don't have this problem.

Thats the problem with jaqex, they don't think things through.

Well, if f2p could use pure ess, but not get it themselves (sort of like maples), then this update would have turned out much better. They could have converted all existing ess to pure ess, thus retaining the value of ess already stockpiled by good players (for instance, Lim's major loss), but also prevent more from being extracted by macroers.
