I am not an autoer and never have. I frequently report autoers at the yew trees. I recently have been buying rune essence to merchant. On april 19th I sold 35k ess and planned to sell 60k the next morning. I buy these ess for 25 each and sell 30 each. I have been working for a santa. Since you made this update I am out a lot of cash. I can't sell because members use pure essence. I would have made 1.8mil and now hav 5m if you did not do this! Now it is very hard for me to get a santa. I used to have my friend advertise for me at the fast free laws on 66. Now that it is pure esdsence none of them have use to buy it. I am combat level 40. It may surprise you, but i -think- Jagex considered the fact that some people do this before making their decision.

I doubt that. They care for p2p only.

If f2pers could Access Pure Essence The update would be a complete waste of time...

yes pure ess is members only. apparently members can get both at the ess rocks, f2p can only get normal ess. if your an f2p player and you have a ton of ess in your bank, it will all be converted to normal ess, unless you have a member account or member items on your f2p account

 

 

 

this way ess from f2p worlds can only be used to craft up to body runes, and only pure ess can craft cosmics and up. so nat crafters cant buy ess from f2p players anymore because they cant make nats with normal ess

 

 

 

if youre going to be angry about this update, i suggest you focus your rage on the rule-breaking macroers that cause jagex to do this, dont be mad at jagex

Just craft them into airs mate, you'll end up with more money anyway.

WTF! So now i have to buy pure essence to make natures and laws, which is probably twice as much as normal ess since there will be less as you need p2p...GOOD JOB SCREWING ALL RC'ERS OVER JAGEX :x :x :x :x

I think this could work to my advantage.

 

 

 

It never used to be very profitable for me to sell ess before. I'd always have to craft nature runes and sell them, which meant either risking the abyss or doing a lot of walking.

 

 

 

Now that "Pure Ess" is sure to fetch a much higher price, I'm able to cut out a major step from my money-making process.

 

 

 

I can see how F2P folks would feel a bit slighted though.

I don't really see what kind of reply you're expecting. They're aware about tons of others in your situation also. For them, there isn't any loss at all. Tons of f2p members are in the same situation now. Either pay five dollars and it all gets fixed for them, or don't, and complain about it. To jagex though, neither end is a bad one for them, unfortunately for you.

All I can say is hard luck. Stop whining and find some other way to make your precious millions if thats all you care about. Personally I care about the game and this update will benefit those who care about the game. ie.those who pay for it.

Well put, simple but effective. I think that if we listened to neogeo here we might get over the "ZOMG Jagex messed upz0rz again!" feeling that most are displaying on the forums.

I see several autoers say "selling 125k rune ess. 25 ea", now, maybe, just maybe, 625k exp is enough to get lvl 60 mining?

I don't mind the update. I am a pure F2P player, now I can get my ess to make my air runes for a fraction of the price. Also, members can now sell Nature runes to F2P for more than usual. I say only Nature runes because no F2P shops sell them, making the price controlled by players selling to F2P. The other runes, death, chaos, etc.... will most likely keep their natural price because they can be bought in rune shops on F2P. :wink:

I just lost 7.44 million gp thanks to this update and you say "hard luck"? Do you know how angry I am that Jagex just patched together this [developmentally delayed]ed update without any concern for the people who would be ruined by it?

I've worked so long to get where I am in runescape and now Jagex just shattered my work in one day. To say that non paying players don't care about the game is so asinine it's sickening. I've played long hours to earn a little spending money so I could work on my skills, and now it's all gone. This is tantamount to being wrongfully banned, but the difference is, I don't get to appeal.
