The quality of posts, and the stupidity of the posters are quickly driving me away from these forums. People act so childish here, and there are way to many wanna-be mods. People of these forums post multiple threads about the same thing - How many different threads about summoning are there right now? How many am I interested in? 0. At this point every post I see right now is either based on the recent game - killing updates, or summoning. The forums are blan and boring. I'd rather watch paint dry than read the same garbled mess about summoning over and over. FIND BETTER TOPICS TO POST ABOUT

You guys are lucky, you get to level up after they buffed leveling speed by 40%. I leveled my two 70s when the grind was hellish.

if you cant get lurker past 70% you should put away the SSC key and farm kara/gruul for a little longer. Or uninstall your game.

You would think Jagex would have the ability to re-name characters. Just another reason why Blizzard is a far better company. Jagex you lose.

If you ask me, this whole thing is stupid. Jagex just has sand in their butts because the money sellers make more $$ anually then they do.

What I dont understand is how items are going to fluxuate (Spelling?) in price with the new trading system/GE. Santas are roughly 22m each right now, so does that mean that all rares are stuck at that exact price forever since thats the price the GE registers them as? and since you cant charge more than 3k for them? I dont get it really.

You mean without PKing? Without the ability to trade more than 3k at a time? Without the ability to duel for any sort of profit? Yes, seems like the game is being played EXACTLY like it should be. Edit: Looking at your join date, you have no idea how the game should be played.

After reading the update news today, i have decided that the essence of runescape is gone. Back when I played RS i enjoyed the freeness, the ability to basically do what I want, whether it be to treck around the wilderness with a bunch of friends, hunting down PKers, or hanging out in world 2 trying to catch the best deal on an item. With the additions to the duel arena, wilderness, and merchanting, I think the essence of what runescape used to be, is completely gone. I used to love merchanting, the thrill of getting a great deal on a rare, or the fun of hunting a player down in a huge wild, and the excitment of winning a duel worth 100m gp by 3 hit points. all of these fun things are gone from RS, and with them being gone, RS has lost its flare. Good game gold sellers, you killed the game. Jagex, sorry it had to come down to this. -Taters

Why dont they just re-name the game World of Warcraft after all those updates. - An auction house (stole from wow) - Assist screen (stole from wow) - The new chats and clan chat (stole from wow) - Just about the only thing they didint steal is the graphics, RS is still stuck in the past.

You're right. I don't play runescape anymore but I browse these forums occasionally. I rarely post anymore because the moderation is to extreme. I remember back in '05 this forum being full of friends, posting threads which, were not in the right forums per-say but were viewed hundreds of times and responded too. I feel that TIF is more of a business than a game fan site. There are to many mods, and they are to strict. But thats just my opinion. Also the wanna-be mods are just annoying. Tip: Just stop, you're not going to be given moderator powers because you spam "this thread should be moved" 50 times a day on various threads, you will be modded on the fact that you post intellectual and informative posts.
