What's a good f2p rune weapon to train defense?

rune scimmy is the best :D

either rune scimmy(as suggested before) or rune battle axe

First, train on "Defense" style

 

 

 

Second, the scimmy is a fast weapon and is good

 

to use against enemies weak to a slash attack.

 

That includes many monsters except city guards, black knights, and white knights.

 

 

 

Third, Ranging on Long range also gives Def exp (in case you didn't know)

 

 

 

Fourth, attack Maging with a Staff can give Def exp (in case you didn't know)

 

 

 

Fifth, use a Diamond power ammy to boost your attack accuracy.

 

 

 

Finally, you can have the Apothecary in Varrock make you a (F2P) 4 dose

 

strength potion for 5 gold, 1 limpwurt root, and 1 red spider egg(s).
