I recently heard that a member asked - more like pestered - a PMod, telling him to mute him. Eventually the Mod did, under which rule I'm unsure of. The player was then banned by Jagex.

 

 

 

What I would like to ask is, do you think that Jagex were out of line or indeed the player was dancing with the Devil by provoking the Mod?

I would say dancing with the Devil. Just put this in different terms if you went to a police officer and repeatedly asked him to arrest him he would, there and it would be legal because you are infringing upon the officers ability to work.

 

 

 

I believe that if someone is dumb enough to ask to be muted then they should be banned. Honestly there should be a moron rule that states you have to have at least some common sense.

Jagex were certainly out of line. After all, what rule did the player actually break?

before we go throwing our arms in the air, can you tell us EXACTLY what was said to the pmod? there might be more to the story than we know. and i agree, there should be rules against morons in rs.
