Nope, that's excellent, just try to be consistent; on the left there's a gap between the thing and the shadow of it.

This is just real quick and rought but you'll get what I mean, hopefully.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Unless your dead on looking at a straight angle, which isn't very common, you'll be able to see a slight curvature and the back part of the pointy bits.

 

 

 

Maybe keep that in mind for your next sig.

Yeh, because you've tried to show that they're there, by showing the top and the bottom, you've made them look overly tall.
