When you buy one from someone else, is there a possibility that they used theirs already and when you buy it, you won't get 250 uses? If this is a case, couldn't you use one ring to smelt 5k iron ore as long you traded with your friend every 249? May 2, 200620 yr Ring of forge's usage is player based. If you have used 249 charges, then buy a new ring, that ring will be destroyed after one use. therefore you don't have to worry about usage. All I learned in life, I learned on Tip.it
