jondea0
im am confused about how to make brutal arrows and ogre arrows these are two qoutes from tip.it mini games guide The Ogre Arrows are massive arrows that are used to kill Chompy Birds. They are the only arrows that will kill the bird. To make them you will need feathers, a knife, a chisel and a hatchet. Firstly look for an Achey Tree. They are all over the east side of the swamp and one is shown below. Cut the tree and you will get some Achey logs. Use your knife with the logs to make some Ogre Arrow shafts. You will recieve between 2 to 6 shafts per log. Now use your feathers with the shafts. 6 feathers are used per shaft. Brutal Arrows: To make brutal arrows, you are required to fletch achey shafts. Each shaft requires 4 feathers to be tailed. Together with a hammer, you attach nails to the shafts. Each bar can be smithed to produce 15 nails. You can sell and buy brutal arrows to Uglug's Stuffsies shop (at the Zogre camp). the two parts i have underlined are the bits i am confused on. if you use feathers with achey shafts how does runescape know that i am going to make brutal arrows or ogre arrows because according to this you need 4 feathers for brutal and 6 for the other. can someone explain this to me or if you dont understand the question then ask discuss a combat reformation
Platinum_Myr
Yes... achey logs once trimmed for arrows use a random ammount of feathers, from 2 to 6. The AVERAGE of these is 4, so you SHOULD be safe bringing 4, but the max is 6, so one guide used the average, the other the max. I would bring at least 6 feathers each :) Maxed since Sunday, January 9th, 2014Completionist since Wednesday, June 4th, 2014
Misaka_WORST
Use either Nails or Wolf Bonetips on Unheaded Achey Shafts. The feather things are rough estimates
