If you're planting flowers to keep a veggie from getting diseased, do you need to replant every time the flower is done growing, or can you leave it there for protection? tefda Posted May 5, 2006 Share Posted May 5, 2006 The full flower is the one that protects against the disease, not the growing of the flower. I've made that mistake many times.
