May 9, 200620 yr Hello, I am a new player to Runescape (noob!) and I am enjoying it a lot so far. One question I cannot seem to find the answer to is this: Where do Black items come from? I know I can buy certain items in shops, but I cannot smith them from any known substance. Is there any way to create Black items or do I have to buy them? Thanks! uscgrad91 Say hello if you see me wandering around world 38!
May 9, 200620 yr Black items can only be bought, or gotten from treasure trails. Yeah, Im still wondering why you can't smith em yet =\ been wondering that for the last 5 years... May 9, 200620 yr Black weapons and armor can not be made by players. You must either buy them in a shop or get as a monster drop. The exception is black dragon leather armor which can be crafted, but that isn't a black metal armor after all.
May 9, 200620 yr i think i read it somewhere like zybez, tip it or runehq that "supposedly" black armor is pure coal but i highly doubt it maybe its a prelude of whats going to be a new thing in smithing :D
