silverwarrior
if i am skulled and i put on protect item prayer and die. would i keep my god staff when i am wearing full mystic. btw about ghostly robes, if i die and lose it, do i do the same thing to get it again or can i just talk to the ghost at glarials tomb and get everyting at once? also can i talk to the ghost and get the robes then drop them, and get another set so i have more than 1 set. kwimbob
Ok, I believe that you would keep the mystic top. Here's my proof: At both of the item's specialty shops here are their prices: God staff: 80k (at the Mage arena god staff shop) Mystic robe top: 120k (At the Mage guild) Mystic robe bottom: 80k (At the Mage guild) Just in case you're wondering I put the mystic robe bottom there too... but the staff and its price tie, so I'm not sure what would happen  . Also, the god staff would probably keep over ghostly robes because it has a defined high price at that shop where as the ghostly robes have no price and don't do too much stats. Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well. And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. And yes, I'm completely oblivious to the [real] world around me as I constantly engineer new solutions to daily problems in my head. When I get hungry, all that isn't food can wait. When I'm sleepy - nothing is of any priority in front of sleep. But at any other time, I never slow down. Never give up. Never Surrender. Makes for a good life.[hide]YOU'RE GONNA CARRY THAT WEIGHT.- See You, Space Cowboy.[/hide][/hide]
qopitar
Someone once posted that a really good way to verify what items you will keep when you die is to die while carrying the 4 items (mystic top, bottom, hat, and staff) with protect item prayer on and then note the order of the items in your inventory when you arrive in Lum or Fally. The items should be arranged in order from most valuable to least valuable. If, after conducting this experiment, you find that the staff is considered the least valuable item and want to know how it compares to the mystic boots and gloves, repeat the process while carrying those three items. If this is true, then a mystic top will protect over the staff, but the staff will protect over the mystic bottom. It also protects over mystic gloves, boots, and farseer helm. (I know this because I just got my first god staff, and when I was going to train it, I got pked and woke up in Falador with a much lighter load  )
