my freind says my player will never be good

my att is 35 my str is 45 and my def is 22 i know thats its bad to raise your def to much but will my guy ever be good enough to kill pures in the wild?

a) it is not bad to raise your defence, unless you are a pkler or staker

 

2) your char is fine to pk, but getting the str a little higher wouldn't hurt

 

iii) prayer is 'bad' for pkers and stakers too dont forget, if that too high, then you will have to put alot of effort in to make it less major to combat

Stuff your friend, keep working at your goals. No, defence is not a bad idea. Just keep working at your aims, and one day, when all your combat skills are 99, you will probably turn around to your friend and say "hey, remember that time that you said my character would never be good?" and you will either have a long laugh about the good ol' days or your friend will shut his face. You get the beneifit either way. 8-)

well, prayer raises your cvombat (7 to 8 prayer levels per combat level), so your pker will be weaker.. if you want a pker - which i would not reccomend for a main, unless you know what you are doing

Im sure if u train hard enuf u will bcome a gud character as i am sure that some of the top players didnt think they wud b the greatest characters in the game. Just keep training don't let your mate put you down, but remember to take breaks in ur training and u will soon b a good character.

yer but pkers need high prayer for magic protect etc dont they?
