thegoof
I am a combat level 25 f2p who needs help. I primarily mine and smith for money and xp. I do not pk, and kill animals for there food and bones. I have no interest on pking. WHt is the best type pf weapon for me? I need something lighter and strong. I would like it to be something that would work well in defence. I am planning on training prayer up. I know that it is ot "honorable" but I feel it is better for my overall protection. My goal for prayer is to get to the "Protect from Melley" prayer. I would also like to be able to go into the prayer guild. Are these reasonable long term goals? Should I try to train any higher? Thanks in advance, thegoof1
kwimbob
I would suggest a scimitar, of the best metal that you can use, for your weapon. It has the fastest speed but at the same time decent accuracy and strength. For prayer you can just keep burying bones as you kill. If you decide you want to go into just training prayer for some time you can go to the boneyard in the wilderness and bury the bones there. 43 is a great prayer level and in f2p there's really not much of a reason to beyond it. Yeah, though, those are good plans. Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well. And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. And yes, I'm completely oblivious to the [real] world around me as I constantly engineer new solutions to daily problems in my head. When I get hungry, all that isn't food can wait. When I'm sleepy - nothing is of any priority in front of sleep. But at any other time, I never slow down. Never give up. Never Surrender. Makes for a good life.[hide]YOU'RE GONNA CARRY THAT WEIGHT.- See You, Space Cowboy.[/hide][/hide]

transcript80
what the others just said.... Add to that: using prayer is in NO WAY dishounorable!! You worked for that prayer to get it, so you are alowed to use it to your full advantage. Some monsters, minigames etc are impossible to complete without it. It is tough going, though, to get it up. Just bury ANY single bone us see/get, all those little bits of exp tend to add up... And nothing better then getting the message "congrats, you just advanced a prayer level" when you leat expect it! Go to the bone yard fot those big bones respaws. Wear nothing (or 3 items and don't get skulled) and start burying! Good luck Other data was removed when acoount got hacked... Buddy69
defiantly what they just mentioned. The other day i accidently picked up a bone and thought what the hell, i may as well bury it and what do you know? I get a prayer lvl! Well, that didnt actully happen but u never know, it might. And if you want to be a pure prayer is suggest possibly getting a mace even though they are pretty crap, they give a slight prayer bonus. Other than that, consider either: Scimmy: Good speed and accuary, and reasonable strength. B-axe: A bit slower and less accurate, gut gives much better str bonus :)
hmmsk
I read that you wanted something good for defence too, well besides all the other weapons mentioned above you could try a longsword which gives you +2 def to two things, but its your choice to decide if you want that or the speed of a simmy. 18/22 skills at or better than 60.1300+ skill total.Barrows:Torag's Helm x2, Guthan's Helm, Guthan's Warspear, Dharok's Greataxe, died to dharok, Guthan's Platebody, Ahrim's Hood. All in a total of 104 runs.
