How hard is it to get a arge pouch from abyss monsters?

It varies, but most people can get all 4 pouches in less than 2 hours. I think it took me about an hour. Just plan on 3 hours so when it takes less, you'll feel better about it. :-P

again thats strictly average, but if your combat is high enough (80's), you should get all pouches by the time you finish your inventory of food (my best record was 3 pouches up to large in 5 monk fish, worst was 30 lobsters). So you can get lucky.

 

 

 

For a tip, kill leeches only, and stay away from walkers and guardians. Guardians might worth killing a few, walkers are definitely not worth it. You kill leeches very quickly too, as they only have 10 hp.
