May 14, 200620 yr i heard that you can make loads of money fletching quite easily but how...arrows are just to complicated to make and sell about the same price as the bars used. i heard about the high alching bbut whats the best bows to high alch at a low lvl? i level 43 btw Barrows drops: Torags pl8, Torgas legs, Guthans chainskirt
May 14, 200620 yr yews are really the only bows worth alching, cause the alch price must be higher than the cost of the nats. 70 flecthing is a good way to make money alching yew longs. there is an alch table in the tipit fletching guide. "A disbelief in magic can force some poor souls into believing in authority and business"
May 14, 200620 yr Making bows is the most common way of making money with fletching. It goes like this: you buy yew logs at 300 each and bow strings at 180-200 each. then you make bows (use a knife with the logs and string the unstrung bows) and you sell the bows for 600 each, that's atleast 100 each profit per bow. you need 70 fletching to make the 'longbows', because alchers don't buy shortbows.
May 14, 200620 yr Yew longs are the way to go. Buy yew logs at around 270 each (they're dropping fast because of autoers), strings at 150-200 (much easier to buy for 200). Then just cut, string and sell for 600 each. I used that method to get to 99 Fletching and made a very nice profit by the end. Alternatively you can high alch the yew longs yourself. You'll end up breaking even, so it's not really for profit - but you get some very nice mage xp while you're at it.
