mixand
-=-=Blind Herblor=-=- i think their should be a new quest called blind herblaw to some people requirements: 40 herblaw 30 crafting 40 agility 40 theiving can kill a lvl 80 monster have done druid ritrual ok right now i dont know what her name is but the lady in the desert who id's ur herbs for 200 ea is starting to go blind and giving the villagers the wrong herbs and its making them sick.. she tells you of a vision potion that she can make but she needs the herbs to make it. the herbs can be found in a cave not to far of the village. to open the cave you will need to make a clay key. talk to the blind herblorist and ask for a key for the cave. she says the only way you can get a mold is from putting clay on the hide of a rock demon. she says that very demon is in that hole over their. but be warned their is many things their like traps and obstacles. once you get into the cave you will have to get past traps and obstacles (agility 40, theiving 40 needed) once their kill the rock demon(melee monster lvl 80) its brown and kind of looks like a lesser demon but made of rocks. kill him and get hes hide put wet clay into the hide to make a clay key. (40 crafting needed) get back to the secret cave and put it into the the hole. when your in get some herbs of the caves id them as "Tablem" herbs. put the tablem herbs into a vial of water with a eye of newt. this will make a vision potion, give it to the herblor ladie and you will be finished. rewards 9k herblaw xp 5k gold 5k crafting theiving and agility xp 5 rannar weeds 50gp iding ability to make vision potions - light sorce without candle for 5 minutes(ty thrash-boy) "If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel AdamsMy new site. [bETA]

SAGE
Way to generous on the XP given there. Herblore is quite a hard skill and 15k+10 rannars is quite extreme as it can be around 150k+ in rewards as 15k Herb xp can take some money and is 150 Super attack potions for most people who stay around 45 herblore after legends. Maybe lower it down to 9k herb xp or something not so rewarding as it is one of the better skills that people don't commit to and still have decent ranks. Zonhottie
yahi think it would be an ok quest, ut maybe the lvl requirements do not correspond to the exp given, just dunno maybe maybe u could higher the requirements a bit, otherwise its perfect, i want a quest like that.. Currently training all skills to or above 60. Barrows drops: 87 runs done so far. Torag Platebody on 4th run. Guthan Chainskirt on 35th run. Dharok Helm on 45th run. Torag platelegs on 49th run. Ahrim Robeskirt on 86th run.
thrash-boy
ok ive got a sujestion, maybe only take idÃÆÃâÃâÃÂng cost to 100gp (not free) and get ridda most of that to generois xp. How about also the ability to make vision potions. What they do is when your in a dark area that you need a candle or lantern to see in, drinking that potion will give you full vision for about 5 minutes so u dont have to have a candle or lantern. mixand
hey great idea! ill just add that in now "If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. rft
I like it. anything that gives me more herb xp i'm up for. However, I do think that the rewards are too good. Something like 5k herb xp, 1k thief, cratf and agil + the ability to make those pots would be sufficient. This would work well for an intermediate level quest. The alternative would be to make this quest for skillers (like devious minds was), so have a herb requirement of 60 or something. You could either melee the demon as normal, or you could make a pot that would protect from its attacks (like an earth protect pot - needs 60 herb to make) or make it easier to kill. Best Barrows Chest: guth skirt, dh helm, dh axe, racks, gp (23/08/06); best tt reward: robin, guthix helm, guthix legs, nats, rune legs
Kmac_Archer
make the xp 10k, but make the quest way harder. maybe after u defeat the hide demon u have to kill a level 180 or u have to kill the demon with no armour. also 50 agil and thief requirements and minimum of 45 herb
