and don't protect u from any damage

 

 

 

Ammy of fury only gives 2 more strength and prayer bonuses

 

 

 

and 12 more defense bonus compared to ammy of glory

 

 

 

Ammy of glory price= 80k

 

 

 

Ammy of fury price= 5m wth!!

 

 

 

why is that? does ammy of fury tele u to anyplace u want to go

No, it just costs a HELL lot to get onyx gem in the first place. Onyx gem can only be gotten in TzHaar, and you have to have either 300k Torkkul or killing a lot of high level monsters. 300k torkkul costs millions to get, thats why they are expensive.

A Fury amulet is more of a status symbol than a functional amulet. True, it's a bit better than a glory, obviously not worth the enormous price difference over a few puny bonus points, but it's a semi-tough item to get (at least via tokkul drops). It's usually higher levels wearing them, therefore differentiating themselves from the lower levels whom wear glories.

You are right on the point of it costs alot to begin with but Onyx is not a monster drop, jagex has confirmed this.

But what i have to add is that when you are dueling with a pure, you want every little bonus you can get your hands on because it makes a difference. Other then that it is just a status symbol for rich players although most of my rich friends wear onyx necklaces which have no use an more likely never will

Rares are used mainly for merchanting and investing nowdays :? , though yes, they are still a status symbol.

 

 

 

I myself got a Fury amulet a few months ago. Why'd I get it? The stats? Hell no, I'm not paying 5.2mil extra for barely better stats then a glory. But I love the status that comes with it. One sees a guy in a Fury amulet instead of a glory and they're like "Hey, that guys cool. Maybe I should change into a girl avatar and ask him to be my bf." :roll:

I should probably contribute to the thread, so yeah, plus 12 defence is better than not having it, and if you are rich enough, no harm in spending on something useful. But its mostly for status, like having full dragon.

Personally id hate the attention my best mate has a level 90 charecter ace skills and stuff cant renember is user though and I went out in some of his rare clothes and with a purple phat and suddenly im swarmed by people asking me out.... or asking to fiuight in the wildy
