Which team is 15 games behind already?

Featured Replies

If you geussed the Royals, you are wrong because they are behind 17 lol...what a horrible team. David Glass should be ashamed and fired, except he is the owner. How much worse could you get. I was hoping they would'nt get double digit wins by the break this year but they finally reached 10 wins and 30 losses as of today. Anybody have anything to add?

Heh im stuck with the Marlins which is having extremely major bad problems with releif and is filled with all rookies and no one with experience

I'm guessing you're talking about american puffy 'football'?

At least say what you're posting about...

How do you manage to get 15 games behind anyway? Don't they schedule games over there? ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâì_̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâì

1) This is Major League Baseball.

2) I assume 15 games behind means that the team is 15 games behind the division leader? I'm pretty sure that isn't a result of unscheduling games...

You mean to say that Football, primadonnas jumping all over each other and gesturing to a referee to look hard, is a 'harder' sport than American Football? Or are you simply basing that on the fact they wear pads?

And before you ask, No, I'm English. :?

I'm with Bubsa, I hate the 'sissy' rep American Football gets. People break their necks and backs playing it, regardless of padding, surely that shows it's pretty tough.

Dreaming of that face again

It's bright, and blue, and shimmering

Grinning wide

And comforting me with it's three warm and wild eyes

rofl, might wanna do a little research before you post. whole post is wrong.

Hey at least the Tigers are leading the division right now!

Meh, ok, I thought you were talking about American Football.... I hate that... It's not anything like football.

I understand people break legs/necks/spines etc playing it, but look at (English) Rugby: they wear no padding, it's just pure fat/muscle.

Anyway, meh mmkay, I don't really understand baseball... It's strange... You hit the ball as far as you can and run around the pitch... Great fun?

My views. Ignore them if you wish. :)

Hey, that's also my limited and very uneducated view of cricket  . I should look at the wikipedia article sometime ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ã

Baseball is a tough sport which requires a group effort, fathead.

Jeez, lighten up... I said they were purely my views and that you could ignore them. I don't expect to be called some stupid name I heard my 6 year old nephew say a few weeks ago (Seriously).

I know it needs teamwork since you have to tell people to go wherever... But still, they're my views. If you don't like them, then just don't say anything...

Unless it's constructive, rather than a 6 year old insult. :)

soccer: run after a ball to kick it away

baseball: hit a ball and run around

football/rugby: crash into someone to take his ball so you can get crashed into yourself

golf: hitting a ball over and over again to get it in a hole as fast as possible so you can take it out again

basketball: running back and forth with a ball and do crazy jumps

etc etc everything can describe someone else's sport as '[developmentally delayed]ed' 8-)

Yes, all sports are like mentally challenged games, but somehow they are fun...

God knows how, but I find 'Soccer' fun... Kicking a ball.. woo?

Anyway, back on topic about hitting a ball as far as you can and running. :D

if you dont like football thats fine, but rugby is very different. in football its not only a combonation of teamwork and how fast you can run, but its the split-second decisions that change the game that make football fun. also its difficult because you have to avoid being taken down, and atletecism plays a major role there. so its a combonation of teamwork+smarts+athleticism that makes football one of the most, if not the most, challenging sports.

Can ye please put 'American' before football if you're not talking about 'Soccer' because I can't tell which you're talking about (till you talk about taking people out. )

But anyway, most sports are similar to that... Fooball... you have to fast, accurate, powerful, smart (plan ahead where people are going to run), not get tackled, etc.

Cricket isn't much like that... You just have to have a quick eye?

Rugby too is pretty similar but you really couldn't care less if you get taken out... although it is better to try not to.

i play 'soccer' as we call it, but its nowhere near as hard because you can just get rid of the ball whenever you want. thats why its so boring to watch pro soccer imo because its like there just passing the thing around xD. but yeah soccer is fun too.

Erm, have you ever played rugby? You make it sound like they have nothing in common whatsoever. I've played both sports and "its not only a combonation of teamwork and how fast you can run, but its the split-second decisions that change the game that make football fun. also its difficult because you have to avoid being taken down, and atletecism plays a major role there." for both sports. I've made split-second decisions and dodged tackles countless number of times in both rugby and american football. And teamwork is present and necessary in both sports. In fact, I find myself more tired after a game of rugby, because the ball is almost constantly in play. That means there isn't any set of 'downs' after each play where we can regroup and catch our breaths ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ã
