F2P training spots for ranging, meleeing, and maging pures?

Featured Replies

What are some good areas to train magic(failing earth strike), ranging at 50 range with iron arrows (not picking them up), and meleeing with 1 defence at about 40 attack and 42 strength with 46 HP.

Melee:

Varrock Sewer

Range:

Barbarian Bar

Dwarven Mines

Magic:

Varrock Sewer

Dwarven mines

Black knights at their fortress while "sniping" on the Ice Mountain

Help give me some?

Hobgoblins by the crafting guild can be ranged/maged from the cowpen. Its a good spot.

Out of interest, why do you want to fail earth strikes?

Melee maybe guards.

Melee:

Dwarfs(Lvl-10) in dwarven mines, they have a max hit of 2 & are a good training spot. You can even train without food & when your low on hp monastary is near by.

Zombies(Lvl-18 in Edgeville dungeon, they have a max hit of 2 as well but sometimes they keep hitting which gets annoying.

Ranging:

You could train in Jail on Pirate & Thief since your not picking arrows & hobgoblins from the cowpen as ishepp mentioned.

Mage:

Not sure about this but wear Iron helm,pl8,green d hide vambs, chaps, kite,no ammy & try hobgoblins or even at Jail.

Melee training on F2P pures is the WORST! Monsters hit too hard and consistently on the 1 defence. No wonder people seldom make strength pures. I think ranging will stick to barbarian bar as it is more fun while still giving exp, amd mage will be AFK failing earth strikes on Ice Mountain "sniping" black kngihts/fortress guards. Then I'll use weakening spells in Varrock sewers.

Thanks all.

I'd recommend going for NPC's with a high hp. For example, on the 2nd floor of the white knights in falador, there's a torture room with a few respawn points. Good maybe for mage training due to armour. However i've only tried training there so far with range so not too sure if it's profitable in terms of exp.

In terms of ranging, i like the guards at edgeville jail.

Try to find a spot where the number of NPC's count is high, respawn is quick, and their hp is relatively high to their combat level  e.g. men at edgeville; pretty low hp, however fast respawn and plenty of them, therefore good quick exp. (for lower levels, say training from 1-40 strength).
