Wat is a falid Curse help u do?

Hello,

Failed curses are a cheap way to raise up your magic. A good spot is the Monk of Zamorak under the stairs of Varrock Castle.

i still dont under stand how it works

You wear all your armour, and repeatedly cast curse failing every time.

You still get the XP for failing a spell.

So you can use curse over and over, getting the XP because you fail it.

I believe curse is around 29xp, and it only costs 20gp (or 10gp if you have a mud staff) to cast and get this XP.

Oh, I never knew that one. Thanks JIMMIE!! (I'll never do it though, sounds boring and noobish)

here!

Cheap mage training... more expensive, but faster, is teleporting - that's why you sometimes see a player repeatedly teleporting to the same place.

Actually, at level 61, curses would be very slow training, as they can only be cast singly from the spell menu - more useful at the lower levels, weakens from level 11 and curses from level 19.

Alching is another one, and picking the right items to alch, or buying stuff at less than the alch return, can mean you break even or at least cut the losses.

All these methods train magic without HP, so work well if mage is secondary, but leave you far too light in HP if you only train mage.
