What is the best yewing spot???

Featured Replies

Now that I have gotten 79 combat, I need to make some money. In light of the recent construction update, and the subsequent drop in yew prices, many less people will be yewing. That means more yews for me :) But I dont know what the best spot is. I originally cut at Melzar's Maze, having a low level friend take my logs and note them. He would keep 8 of the notes each load as payment (this saves me from having to run around on a very slow computer). But he was inspired to get his woodcutting to 60, and start yewing himself (he did it in like a week rofl). He says (along with another yewer Im friends with) that the Varrock yews are much better. Is this true, now that the macroer problem in Runescape is nearly solved? Or is there another yew spot, better than both, that I have overlooked (like Falador or Lumbridge castle) ? I am f2p, and am aware that there are much better members yewing spots, I dont need to hear about those. Please answer!

The Yews in Varrock I believe are a lot closer to a bank but may be more crowded.

Offline and unavailable.

Yea.. I yew in Varrok. Its probably the best F2P spot. Its a really popular spot and there are usually tons of people there though...

i prefer Varrock and Lumby woods, for f2p

Yes, Varrock is probably closest to a bank, but the Dranyor-Lumbridge woods have more Yew trees I think (not much more) and there's less people.
