Does anybody have any clues? I dropped all of my stuff in my house after I built it. I figured âââ‰â¬Å hey, i've locked the portal, no onw can get in, less to carry. Next time I came back -- Poof! everything was gone. Can I get it back? Am I screwed? Any ideas?

I think its like dropping your items on the ground.

 

 

 

IE: you drop it on the ground, and after a while it disappears. Not sure though, cuz houses aren't supposed to be used as banks.

Sorry, it's gone. The house isn't a storage place. In the FAQ for construction in the Knowledge Base it says that dropping things in your house is the same as dropping anywhere else. It will disappear after a short time.

yup, your items are gone now. so how much did you lose? hope it wasnt too much. please dont make a rant thread about it if it was alot.

Yes, the Kbase says it's not meant to be a bank and if you just go out then in it goes wiiiip (sucked into the air). But there is unlimeted stuff in certain storage furniture.

This is kinda related - if you put stuff in a prize chest, and nobody comes into the house, will it just stay there until you take it out or something?

yes i believe it stays there until either you take it out or someone beats the dungeon and gets it

The portal doesn't prevent the servant from getting to bank or the sawmill or anything.

 

 

 

It only prevents guests to go inside, nothing else.

 

 

 

And yeah, it isn't meant to be used as a bank. However you can ask your servant to put some stuff into your bank for you.

Unfortunately your stuff is gone. If you were in build mode and dropped items on the ground then turned off build mode, you will get a warning that you will lose all the items you dropped. I got that message last night when I dropped all the noted tables I had then tried to tele out of the house.
