June 7, 200620 yr Well my friend and I love to play rs a lot. He had p2p but I didn't. One day we were talking about rs and how summer is getting closer, then he asked if I wanted to have rs membership. I was amazed by his generosity. When I got back home I remembered that no one outside your immidiate family can pay for you. So I asked him no to send it. and he told me to register for a paypal account. When I did register, he was about to send me the funds when I read that I couldn't send ANY money without first verifying and giving out my creditcard or bank account information. My parents, of course, were the people that didn't trust the internet. I told them this was better than buying games, then my 2 little bros came into the picture. If he gets a membership I WANT ONE TOO!!! So my parents didn't want to pay $45 for the three of us over the summer, and also we only have one comp so we split playing time in 3. Well I also asked my friend if he could put his info in because I didn't know mine and parents didn't want me to use credit card. His parents wouldn't let him and he didn't want to "borrow" it from them. So I'm trying to find something that I don't need a credit card, bank account or that stuff to verify to be able to send stuff and it accepts paypal payments.

June 8, 200620 yr Since you don't seem to be getting anywhere due to all the restrictions, I suggest you resort to paying by "snail mail", that is the postal service. The "Pay by Cash" feature accepts checks or money orders. A money order can be bought at any convenience store (like 7-11) or grocery store and requires only the money and a minor fee (probably less than $.75 since the amount is so small) :D - I'm fairly certain that even a kid can buy one. Mailing the money to PBC avoids the problem of mailing something to England, too, lol. A money order is better because a check takes time to "clear" the bank (for them to actually get the money). The delay for the mail to get to PBC will be frustrating, but it is possible. Good luck. it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
June 8, 200620 yr how? its not his friend buying it if HE HIMSELF presses the button besides how are jagex going to prove that they arent family? if the card is regiterd to someone in a different area to him, with a different name, they can chack the deatils to find yout if you are related. and it doesnt matter who clicks the button, it is not him paying. it is like giving someone money to buy you something from the shop. it is not their money, they just happened to spend it. June 8, 200620 yr Sorry to post again, but I just read this in a P2P topic and thought I should share: my best rs frend since classic tried to scam me with a "let-me-pay-for-ur-membership" ploy... ended up getting my other frend hacked since i alredy had a membership and he was looking for sum1 to pay for I'm not casting aspersions on your real life friend, lawrencekill, but players should be aware that sometimes people offer to pay just to take advantage. The account password is required in order to pay for someone else. Obviously, the person then has total access to your account. This is probably why Jagex prohibits payments from outside immediate family - Jagex constantly tries to protect us from scammers, and we continue to try to get around their restrictions, heh heh. So everyone: don't give your password to anyone else. This has been a public service announcement, lol. Hugs, pokemama it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.

THE PIN NUMBER. He'll never guess it. 2 seconds later Damn how did he guess my pin number was 0000. (btw that your pin number if you don't set any dif one) Yeah pay by cash seems only way without credit card or bank account, still don't trust PO because one of my parents work there and it ain't pretty.
