Featured Replies

The tip.it bestiary says they do, i on the other hand challenge that and my freind says "its a slayer monster so it will" so how many people actually spent that much time or got lucky on one im looking for if it drops or not.

If Tip.It says they do they're right. They're always right about stuff like that. But it will take you ages to get it.

Unless you're lucky.

Why is 'common sense' so named, when there is so little of it about?

Welcome to puberty, we've been expecting you.

They're not always right. For a long time they had in their bestiary that the lvl 149 Tzhaar monster droped onyx gem. But it was only a rumour, it doesnt acctullay drop and onyx.

Hmm, good point, even I found mistakes about drops.

I corrected that greater demons don't drop steel scimitars and admant full helmet, and they believed me.

You're right, they aren't always right.

Since evidence is impossible, since you can drop the monster's bones/ashes/whatever and something else.

Well, they don't drop them. Of course low level slayer monsters like basilisks drops rune stuff, but banshees requires so low level. It takes about week to be able to kill them. So they don't drop dragon medium helmet. It's just a rumour.

It's true many slayer monsters drop good stuff for their levels compared to non-slayer monsters, but most of these requires high slayer level. (for example, Zygomites drops are very similar to greater demons, well, not very, just few metal stuffs) My point is it requires 57 slayer, and it isn't very easy to get. They drop Mort Myre Fungi which is only available during farming.

Slayer level requires is the key of what good drop the monster drops, but not always (Skeletal Wyvern is example)

Well, I hope I'm helpful, and thanks for pointing that onyx thing out.

Um, Mushrooms are only available during farming. Mort Myre fungi, while they look just like orange mushrooms, are obtainable anytime. Use a blessed sickle (from the Nature Spirit quest) to "Cast bloom" in the Swamp near some fallen logs. I get them all the time to use in potions.

it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
