June 9, 200620 yr I did that quest months ago, but farmer fred said that I should beware of the Thing ! So I got scared and got wool elsewhere. But I've been wondering.... What is the Thing? Is it really a monster that shows up when you're getting wool ? Or what?

That was an april fools joke of 2006, and the quest was released much much earlier...so how could he be talking about something taht wasn't around yet. It's actually the goblin walking around.
