i'm not really sure, but I suggest you merchant a bit until you can buy a rare and keep that in your bank..

Try the help and advice forum.

Keep that 500k tucked away in your bank and enjoy your break from runescape. I don't see anything that would be worth in investing in. Everything should be the same when you come back :)

The only thing I could think of is maybe buying a whole lot of yews. They are a bit low at the moment because of Construction coming out and everyone concerntrating on Oaks.

Once all the hype is over from Construction (which will happen by the end of your Summer) the prices should rise up again! :)

Don't expect a whole lot of gain though!

Yeah, i would agree with the yews, hopefully they should go back up to 300 each soon. But apart from that there isnt much to invest in if you only have 500k

BK.

the only thing that you can buy that would make you money is yew logs i guess ... 500k doesnt buy any rares so yea

yeah, unfortunaly 500 k isent nearly enough to invest in any items that will raise in value. the only thing that will be more expensive in long terms sver is rares. the price on everything else will fall eventually

just yews eh? are steel bars on the rise because of construction?

Steel bars [bleep]ed for about 2 days and then fell back to their normal prices. The boom was short lived, unfortunately. :(
