June 12, 200620 yr I'm down to one shark and am stuck with 2 zombies in the pyramid after making it past the wall and floor traps. I can't find the puzzle that is supposd to be on the west wall. In front of me are more wall traps, I had to run through those without doing the puzzle to escape the zombies - I'm at 50% health :( Question: Do I turn around and go back to try to find the puzzle? Keep going? Where is the puzzle?? Please help, I really don't want to lose all my armor and I can't tele out of the pyramid..... thx in advance
June 12, 200620 yr The puzzle is at the top left corner of this picture. It's the doorway in the top left. Hope it helps, and becareful in there! As long as your not poisoned, sit tight and recover your life slowly. Edit: Quickly looking at this picture, near the bottom right, EASTERN wall, near that purple blob, there seems to be a little red tab, that might be the healing spot they say in the quest guide.
June 12, 200620 yr Author Thanks for the map, I've seen it, but it seems to be no help in locating the puzzle....I don't think I'll live to get to the top left :cry: maybe not though - that's farther away than I thought it was according to 2 guides I'm looking at. I'll just stand around and heal awhile.... ty EDIT - I'm currently standing (and healing) in the space before getting to the first green dot - scarabs I think. The red place on the east wall is what I kept trying to access while the zombies were beating me down lol I don't really want to go back there, but if it will heal me or it's an essential part of the quest, then I will.....
June 12, 200620 yr Here, this my make more sense of where the puzzle is, the puzzle is the top left. And reading through the guide a little, the bottom right corner appears to be a heal? Click the picture to increase it's size, hope it will help some.

June 12, 200620 yr The way i did the quest was to be with a friend and we must have traded water and food so many times so we both survived. Even so i had to take two trips back to al kharid for bank runs. I didnt know of any places in the pyramid that you dont get attacked and can heal yourself other than the bit just before the jump. (middle of picture) So when i got through the hidden trapdoor corridor (along the bottom of the picture) i jut ran til i got to the bit before the jump. Even when you waiting to heal you have to take drinks of water though :(. Lastly always wait for your energy to get back high before attempting the jump or you will fall. Evn then i fell down that hole quite a bit. Other than that good luck with it. :)

Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.
June 12, 200620 yr Teleport didn't work for me in there (amulet of glory). I myself died a painful death down there, unable to get away... and I'm not going back in any time soon. That quest turned me into a cute little kitten-murderer!
June 12, 200620 yr 1 hard to stand still and heal since u must drink water constantly when u are in the pyramid and there is no water source in there. 2 U can not teleport out from the pyramid when u are under hypnos (witch u will be during the hard part of the quest. probably the most enoying quest ive done and ive done most of them by now.
June 12, 200620 yr Author Agreed - I believe it's the most annoying quest I've ever done as well. Of course I brought teleport - however, the quest doesn't allow you to teleport when you are in the pyramid.....which you have to go back in several times. I can't tell you how many times the message "You start dying of thirst while in the desert" came up -- and I brought 5 waterskins the first time and about 7 the second time. Crazy! I hate the desert man! I hope to finish this quest today - and never ever have to go back in the pyramid..... Thanks so much to all of you that offered help

June 12, 200620 yr 2 people died when I did that quest, though I never found it too hard and I only brought 4 waterskins. Though the guy dieing with 14 swordies on him did help... I always say bring a friend along to do a quest.

I always say bring a friend along to do a quest. yes do... i died there and lost every single thing i owned... that was worth somthing but then i did better then ever then i died again then i did ok better again the consturction came now im poor.... BUT BRING A ******* FRIEND :P U Will Need It
