I'm curious....who moderates the moderators? Do player and forum mods have guidelines or do they just go with what they feel at the time? I tend to believe it's the latter, particularly with the RS Forum mods (and with the above poster showing the conversation between 2 player mods, it's pretty obvious to me that one of them hasn't read the guidelines OR there are no guidelines/rules for moderators). Question 2: Are RS Forum mods also player mods? I frequently read the Recent Updates and Future Updates parts of the forum and have seen innumerable instances of forum mods locking threads that would naturally fizzle out on their own or simply have no reason to be locked. Frankly, I'm afraid to voice any sort of opinion there that might be construed as being "anti-mod" for fear of being banned and I've worked too hard on my character to lose it for the sake of speaking my mind. I know Jagex doesn't care, but I certainly respect them less for being overly harsh and wishy-washy.

Agreed - I believe it's the most annoying quest I've ever done as well. Of course I brought teleport - however, the quest doesn't allow you to teleport when you are in the pyramid.....which you have to go back in several times. I can't tell you how many times the message "You start dying of thirst while in the desert" came up -- and I brought 5 waterskins the first time and about 7 the second time. Crazy! I hate the desert man! I hope to finish this quest today - and never ever have to go back in the pyramid..... Thanks so much to all of you that offered help

Thanks so much - I guess I was too long distracted by that first heal puzzle that I couldn't seem to find.....I'm not going back to it. Wish me luck and thanks again...

Thanks for the map, I've seen it, but it seems to be no help in locating the puzzle....I don't think I'll live to get to the top left :cry: maybe not though - that's farther away than I thought it was according to 2 guides I'm looking at. I'll just stand around and heal awhile.... ty EDIT - I'm currently standing (and healing) in the space before getting to the first green dot - scarabs I think. The red place on the east wall is what I kept trying to access while the zombies were beating me down lol I don't really want to go back there, but if it will heal me or it's an essential part of the quest, then I will.....

I've no problem selling monks, and as they heal 16 it's a good alternative for ppl who can't afford shark or whatever....... I have 800 cooked - selling for 400 ea, if you're interested. Thanks.

I'm down to one shark and am stuck with 2 zombies in the pyramid after making it past the wall and floor traps. I can't find the puzzle that is supposd to be on the west wall. In front of me are more wall traps, I had to run through those without doing the puzzle to escape the zombies - I'm at 50% health :( Question: Do I turn around and go back to try to find the puzzle? Keep going? Where is the puzzle?? Please help, I really don't want to lose all my armor and I can't tele out of the pyramid..... thx in advance

I sold 1k cooked monkfish just the other night in a crowded world at Varrock west for 400 each. Wish I could get 500 each, but the market won't bear it. I love the fishing and cooking xp these give and since they heal 16, great training food and a decent alternative to shark for those that can't afford. As far as it taking a long time to get there, maybe try - dueling ring to al karid glider, glider to grand tree and walk over.....not too bad really!
