June 22, 200620 yr how about ranging him while he can melee u?? That's the idea, Jad is most likely VERY strong against melee and mage. Then again, i'm pretty sure he will still switch to mage and range. As for Melee, when he is not doing any of his other attack styles, you should have protect melee on at all times. Basically, this says if you are meleeing Jad, if he is not doing any of the other attack styles (mage/ range), you should have protect from melee. So it is possible that Jad will melee / mage / range you if you are in his melee range and attacking him. (Or just standing next to him for no reason :P ) BTW I'm gonna give fight caves a try tomorrow. Not planning on meleeing Jad after two hours of fighting just to confirm it. sorry :( The longest time Jagex took to reply one of my queries was i think 6 days. And i heard some people get answered in five minutes :? .

I hear tales that several people once learned a way to 'trick' the creature, and attack it without putting themselves in danger. The TzTok-Jad is clever though, and soon learnt ways to increase the range of its attacks, slaying those who had tricked it before.
