June 16, 200620 yr It's important to remember to focus on the quality of your posts, not the quantity. When people look too much at post count, they tend to start spamming topics with content-free posts (like "me, too") which clutter the forums and are not helpful. The other thing to keep in mind is that post counts were recently affected by archiving a *large* number of older topics, in order to keep the forum running smoothly. So someone with a very low post count may actually turn out to be a respected and active participant in the forum for years. Sooooo .... don't judge a user by his/her post count. ;) it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
