June 18, 200620 yr I'm trying to to get the stairs to face my portal entrance, but when you build the skill hall the direction of the stairs seems random. Anone know how to change the direction of the stairs? No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.
June 18, 200620 yr Yeah I had this problem too, I removed my rooms like 5 times, then realized it was getting expensive :P. Well anyway, you have to remove the room and built it from another door hotspot.
June 18, 200620 yr lol i built a room upstairs and i didnt want it. so i accidentally removed the room below it. so i had to build another room n ground floor with stairs so i could get to the 2nd floor to remove the room up there. and im so stupid i did this 2 times. but i finally ended up getting what i wanted so idc.

Great... :-s I'm kind of a perfectionist when it comes to these things so I'm going to have to keep making the stairs face the right way to what ever end (without bankrupting myself). No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.
June 18, 200620 yr If you are interested, please keep track of your attempts (which direction hotspot and which direction stairs) and let us know. You can PM me or post in Website Updates forum Construction topic. That way we can all learn from you, and might be able to give you a credit in the guide ;). it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
