Where would a good place be for a F2P ranger to train at? I will have a maple bow with bronze arrows (6007). I have 20 combat and 30 range. And I would like to pick the arrows up.

Lesser Demons work very well.

 

 

 

Moss giants on crandor isle is very good too.

 

 

 

Though for your lvl, I'd say train range until 40+ at cows, 40 - 50 on hills.

try level 2 men in edgeville. also you can kill chickens in lumby. yes, i know, nooby places, right? but they hardly ever hit on you and you can pick up the arrows along with feathers if you are killing chickens. feathers can sell for 10gp ea. if youg et enough, thats a lot of money.

I'd maybe stick with guards on the roof of varrock palace for a while yet.

 

 

 

Lessers are great but the safe spots are hard to work sometimes (with 20cb that could be very dangerous) and 30 range/bronze arrows might take a long time to kill them. I ranged moss giants from 40 with iron knives and they were quite slow going to start with so I'd adivse you wait a while.

 

 

 

Having said that, try out all the suggestions and see what works best for you.

That Edgeville house with guards is good too, I leveled my pure up there.

After you select a monster to train on,

 

I suggest that you always cast a Curse on it before you shoot.

 

 

 

That will "pull" the monster over to you so that when they die,

 

the loot and all of your arrows will be in a tidy pile in front of you.

 

 

 

You can usually use any spot just outside the monsters

 

normal walk region as your safe spot to shoot from.

 

 

 

And yes, pick up your arrows.

 

Thay will last about 4 times as long if you do.
