If you're going to keep your defense at 1, I suggest you get Green dragonhide chaps and vambraces.

 

 

 

Though, you have to have 40 ranged to use them. Also, Green dragonhide body can only be used if you have 40 defense, too, so I suggest:

 

 

 

- Coif

 

- Leather body

 

- Green dragonhide chaps

 

- Green dragonhide vambraces

 

 

 

Other than that, I don't know much about rangers... so I can't help you with stats, soz.

I would recomend an ammy of power or accuracy as the ammy of strength doesnt help range. And the armor suggested by serpent along with the best bow you can get.

Get 60+ ranged, and own.

60 range (bronze arrows)

 

59 mage (some type of combat spell (not curse))

 

blue mage hat

 

iron chainbody or blue mage body robe

 

green d hide chaps

 

green d hide vambs

 

power ammy

 

boots

you are better of spending your little cash on arrows instead of fancy arrows

as much range as possible, when u hit 50 start training on lessers.. youll start making enough money to either train mage or range, but get range as high as possible

The golden rules for ranged training:

 

 

 

1. Always upgrade bow and armour:

 

Oak bow at 5, Willow bow, studded legs & coif at 20, Maple bow at 30, dragonhide pieces at 40.

 

2. Buy cheap arrows whenever you can

 

3. Train on something that can't hit you - If you use the Barbarian hall, take care NOT to hit the level 15 ranger!
