not bad . .his face is a bit deformed on his left side . .sorta strange . .nice shading though. . i know faces are hard ;)

color looks good , but face is messed up. But its really good still, finish it though, dont submit it every little step.

The shadow fits with the perspective on the JPEG, and the one thing you haven't managed to capture on the pixel is the perspective. :wink:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The overall shading on him should make him seem as if he was turned slightly to the right, instead of head on.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Aside from that, however, Nice clea lineart, but the shadow on the neck should be slightly lighter, so as not to make the dithering obvious. Widen his jaw/chin, too.

Points well made, and I agree with all of them. The neck is missing the last shade of dither, and the perspective is, yes, Off. Didn't think anyone would notice, but :D . I had drawn the Lineart with the missing facial turn, and didn't notice until I had finished the rest of the lineart.
