I've just started a pure, I have already reached 26 magic, what would be the best place to train (using Earth Strikes)?

I would recomend the caged black knight in the port sarim jail until about lvl 40. Then move on to the caged lesser demon at the top of the wizard tower. Or you could try the guards on top of varrock caslte.

Anything that is caged, and that allows you to sit back and autocast :P

 

Id recommend getting magic to a level where you can cash High Level Alchemy, and then switch over to members.

 

Then you can go nuts with mage/fletching

Lessers in Karamja/Top Floor of Wiz Tower.

Thanks for your opinions, so far I've just basically stood in the middle of a cow field and killed everything in there, my defense has gone up some, but it's gotten me up to 30-odd magic.

Law runes weren't easy to get then I used to be a free player. I doubt that has changed. I also doubt that it's rarer from hill giants on F2P than on MEMBERS without RingOfWealth.

 

 

 

Try hill giants, melee them, take the law runes until you have enough, get outta here and telegrab the knight's drops.

 

 

 

100 is enough since black knights drops law runes often as well. Again I doubt the caged one is different.
